
Leo’s Feel Good Fest Returns to UNA on March 20

FLORENCE, AL – The Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of North Alabama will have Leo’s Feel Good Fest on Thursday, March 20, from 4-7 p.m. at Harrison Hall.
“This fun event is designed to promote mental and physical well-being through engaging activities, educational resources, and community connections,” said Dr. Lisa Harrington, the event organizer and Associate Professor of Nursing. “Attendees can explore heath and wellness apps presented by our Level 2 nursing students, visit campus and community partner tables, and participate in a variety of wellness-focused activities.”
In its second year, some of the Leo’s Feel Good Fest include:
- Mini yoga sessions,
- Chair massage mini sessions,
- Beginner hip hop exercise classes,
- A make-your-own stress ball station,
- A henna tattoo table,
- A visit with a special pet therapy guest,
- Healthy snacks, a customizable water bar station, giveaways, and door prizes.
The event is free and open to campus and the greater Shoals community and offers an opportunity to learn more about self-care and well-being. Leo’s Feel Good Fest is sponsored, in part, by Women of Influence, UNA First Lady Dena Kitts’ signature initiative.
