FLORENCE, AL – The University of North Alabama and Nucor have today signed a learning agreement that will benefit Nucor team members seeking any online or on-campus, graduate or undergraduate degree with a tuition scholarship from UNA. 

“Nucor is extremely proud to partner with the University of North Alabama to provide a quality education at discounted rates for our team members.” said Brad Ford, Vice President/General Manager – Nucor Steel Decatur. “Nucor’s mission is to grow the core, expand beyond, and to live our culture. UNA’s online and in-person options are a great fit to help our teammates reach their career goals as we build on our growth and development initiatives.” 

UNA President Dr. Ken Kitts signed the agreement with Nucor representatives in a ceremony at the company’s Decatur facility. The partnership between UNA and Nucor is effective immediately and expected to benefit more than 700 of Nucor’s team members at the Morgan County location.
