Five UNA Faculty Approved for Leave

FLORENCE, AL – Five University of North Alabama professors have been approved for faculty development leave. They are:
- Jian Chen, Associate Professor of Geography and Graduate Coordinator, for the Spring 2026 semester;
- Brian Dempsey, Associate Professor of History, for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Ian Loeppky, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities, for the Fall 2025 semester;
- Melissa Moore, Professor of Geology, for the Fall 2025 semester; and
- Sunhui Sim, Professor of Geography, for the Spring 2026 semester.
