FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama honored members of its student body, faculty and staff at its second annual Awards Gala the evening of April 27 at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center. Awards were presented to recognize members of the campus community for academic, leadership and service achievements.

Awards and award recipients included: The Lion's Cup - African Student Organization Outstanding Civic Leader of the Year - Breann C. Boughton Greek Man of the Year - Samuel C. Thigpen Greek Woman of the Year - Bethany L. Oliver Daniel R. Leasure Award - Zeta Tau Alpha Dean's Award for the College of Arts and Sciences - Emily Elizabeth Beavers Dean's Award for the College of Business - Macy M. Nobles Dean's Award for the College of Education - Candace K. Barnett Dean's Award for the College of Nursing and Allied Health - Jana Luanne Berry Hall of Fame Award - Derrick R.
