UNA’s MBA Program Once Again Largest in Alabama

FLORENCE, AL – The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of North Alabama is, once again, the largest in the State of Alabama. With 942 students enrolled from Fall 2023, it is larger than the next four-year institution by more than 100 students.
“The stability of our MBA program is a testament not only to the strong faculty and dedicated staff we have, but also the reputation of UNA’s MBA across the state, region, and country,” said Dr. Greg Carnes, Dean of the Sanders College of Business and Technology, in which the MBA is housed. “We continue to develop new, innovative concentrations that align with contemporary job requirements in response to the dynamic nature of industry demands. Regular updates to curriculum ensure that our students are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills essential for success.”
While UNA ranks first in size, Auburn University is second with 832 students; the University of Alabama at Birmingham is third with 700 students; there are 350 students enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Alabama; Troy University finishes the top five in Alabama, with 309 enrolled.
The MBA program in the Sanders College at UNA has consistently been the largest program in Alabama for the last eight years by the Birmingham Business Journal. Further the UNA MBA prepares students for excellent careers. The Sanders College also offers the Abroms & Associates Master of Accountancy, the Master of Health Administration, and an Executive Doctor of Business Administration.
