FLORENCE, Ala. — The Department of Music and Theatre at the University of North Alabama will present "Becky's New Car" March 15 to 17 at 7:30 p.m. and March 18 at 2 p.m. in Norton Auditorium. The new comedy was written originally by Steven Dietz and directed by UNA faculty member Charlton James, MFA. "Becky's New Car" is about an everyday American woman named Becky Foster. She is caught in middle age, middle management and a mundane marriage. Out of the blue, a millionaire walks into her office thinking she is a widow and offers her a second chance at romance and a new life. In this new comedy, the audience will enjoy riding shotgun down the road of middle-aged longing and regret. Tickets are $5 for students and UNA employees and $10 for general admission.
