Promising Alumni Winners Announced At North Alabama

"They have also shown great promise for future community and university service through co-curricular involvement," said Justin "Bishop" Alexander, Alumni Relations Director at UNA. "This is a premier campus award, and it's an honor for these students to be honored in this way." The 2020-2021 Promising Alumni recipients are: Sallye "Tay" Cavett, of Madison, majoring in Computer Science. Hunter Tate Gooch, of Killen, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Charles "Charlie" Gordon, of Russellville, majoring in Communication Arts with a concentration in Communication Studies. Sarah Hand, of Hartselle, majoring in Social Work and Spanish. Sarah Mauldin, of Crane Hill, majoring in Professional Management. Kara Nix, of Muscle Shoals, majoring in Industrial Hygiene. Jacob "Jake" Williams, of Russellville, majoring in Mass Communications. Hannah Zimmer, of Reeltown, majoring in Secondary Education. These students will be honored as part of a ceremony that will take place during Homecoming weekend scheduled for Spring 2021.
