"I am honored and gratified by this generous award for God with Us," said Dr. Quiros. "I remain grateful for the important work of archivists and librarians who make historians' projects possible as well as to the men and women who shared their stories with me for this book. This book was written for those who struggled and continue to struggle for a more perfect union. The awards - all of them - really belong to them."
