Una To Celebrate First Amendment With Liberty Tree

FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama Department of Communications will commemorate the First Amendment March 24 at 10 a.m. with the planting of a tree, known as The Liberty Tree, outside of the Communications Building. The basic rights guaranteed by the First Amendment will be the focus of a month of activities hosted by the UNA Department of Communications and sponsored by a Liberty Tree Initiative grant from One for All, Freedom House and the Newseum.
