FLORENCE, AL – The annual Step Sing competition is set for Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4-5, at 7 p.m. in Norton Auditorium on the University of North Alabama campus. The theme for Step Sing 2022 is “Family Game Night,” and the event allows competing campus organizations to show off their talents by performing choreographed songs, dances, and stories.

“Step Sing has been a highly favored event by performers and spectators alike since the early 1980s,” said Becca Bush, UNA’s Student Activities Coordinator. “Not only does this event grant coveted bragging rights to the winning team, it also raises thousands of dollars to go toward campus infrastructure projects designated by student leaders. Therefore, the University Program Council is excited to host this long-standing tradition at the University of North Alabama once again.”

This year’s competition will feature Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Tau Omega, Pi Kappa Alpha, Phi Gamma Delta, Phi Mu and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Tickets are available for the Friday show and can be purchased for $10 at https://unaupc.universitytickets.com. Saturday’s show will be streamed live on UNA’s Student Engagement Facebook page @unaengage.
