The University of North Alabama is home to the Delores and Weldon Cole Honors College. Its mission is to provide students with a great college experience that translates into postgraduate success. The College is full of a variety of students with different majors, backgrounds, and aspirations.

University of North Alabama sophomore Lauren Vance, of Muscle Shoals, has been crowned Miss UNA 2023 at the Miss UNA program, “The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” Saturday evening at Norton Auditorium. Vance will now move on to compete for the title of Miss Alabama. Vance is a Professional Biochemistry major, and she performed a classical piano performance for the talent portion of the program.
Although official figures are weeks away from being finalized, the Spring 2023 term at the University of North Alabama is already breaking enrollment records with a greater than 20 percent increase compared to Spring 2022.
The annual Martin Luther King Jr., Remembrance March at the University of North Alabama will take place Monday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m. Participants are asked to gather in the parking lot below the steps of the Wendell Gunn Commons.

Ten graduates from the December commencement ceremonies at the University of North Alabama were honored as part of the event as recipients of the Keller Key. The Keller Key is awarded at each commencement to graduating seniors who have achieved the highest scholastic achievement.
