Salute To George Lindsey Rescheduled For April 30

FLORENCE, Ala. - The George Lindsey UNA Film Festival will host a special Salute to George Lindsey April 30 at 7 p.m. in the Guillot University Center. Two-time Grammy Award winner Ray Stevens and gospel singer and comedian LuLu Roman will be on hand to honor Lindsey. A number of notable entertainment personalities will also appear via filmed tributes. Other guests will honor Lindsey for his career on television and in film as well as for his philanthropy and service to the University of North Alabama. Tickets to the Salute to George Lindsey are $10 and are available at The Wine Seller (324 N. Court Street, Florence), the UNA Bookstore or online at lindseyfilmfest@una.edu.
