What is Office 365?

Office 365 is included in a Microsoft partnership with Higher Education to provide powerful messaging, productivity, and collaboration tools to students and employees. Features of Office 365 include:

  • 25 Gigabytes (GB) of email storage (25 MB message size limit)
  • 1 Terabyte (TB) of file storage (OneDrive for Business)
  • The ability to share Calendars in the Office 365 environment as well as with Outlook
  • The ability to synchronize contacts and calendars with your mobile device  
  • Office Workspace supporting online document collaboration with others, even if they do not have Microsoft Office
  • Video Chat and Instant messaging
  • Permanent Email addresses/accounts accessible after graduation/retirement
