The responsibilities of the scholarship include mentoring and befriending incoming international students. Navigators assist new international students with accessing services available on campus and introduce cultural and social adjustments during orientation and throughout the school year. Each Navigator will help with orientation, conversation partners, and other OIA programming.

COMPENSATION for Navigators: $1,000 scholarship ($500 per semester)

Application packets will be due by 4:30 pm Friday, March 3, 2023. All supplemental materials (resume and photo) should be turned in at Powers Hall front desk.

In addition to completing this application, each applicant must:
1) Submit a resume which highlights leadership experience and community involvement.
2) Submit a recent photograph of applicant or have a photo taken at OIA when turning in supplemental materials.
3) Participate in a private interview on March 13-17, 2023 at Powers Hall. A sign-up sheet for interview times is located in the Office of International Affairs front desk at Powers Hall.
