TRIO Leadership RSO
The TRIO Leadership Organization strives to build community and positive relationships among college students at UNA by creating awareness of barriers students may face as first-generation college students, students who demonstrate economic need, and students who may have a disability. The TRIO Leadership Organization is dedicated to helping support students on their path to graduation while providing opportunities for leadership development, community service, and student engagement.
TRIO Leadership is a Registered Student Organization that is ran by and for students. Students can register for this organization on Campus Groups. If you have questions or want to know more about TRIO Leadership email a TRIO staff member or the TRIO Leadership president.

TRIO Ambassador Program
The TRIO SSS Student Ambassador Program is composed of SSS participants interested in developing their leadership skills and having a voice in delivering SSS services. The TRIO SSS Ambassadors represent the TRIO SSS student population and express participants’ thoughts and recommendations for workshops, cultural/educational events, and other activities that support the SSS goal of helping students achieve academic success and independence through the pursuit of higher education and the acquisition of a university degree.
SSS students who participate in the Student Ambassador Program will gain valuable communication, planning and plan implementation skills that should benefit them throughout life, as they gain the confidence to participate in community government and as they pursue graduate studies. Involved students then gain a true understanding of the University’s concept of offering students a “future of opportunities” as SSS students themselves engage in the planning of future events.

TRIO SSS Service Learning
The TRIO SSS program and its leadership organizations offer multiple ways for students to serve its greater community. Whether it's a hygiene drive for campus students in need or a Saturday spent dedicating your time to local efforts like Habitat for Humanity, TRIO SSS sees the value in giving back.
