Delta Mu Chapter of Kappa-Pi

Delta-Mu Chapter at the University of North Alabama had an eventful year of activities promoting art, building community on campus, and gaining professional experience. Members held a meet and greet picnic to welcome the freshmen and their new visiting faculty. They collaborated with art club members to make scarves for spring fundraiser and presented Art-from-Your-Heart Workshops to share an experience of art-making with fellow university students. In March, some members, in the company of their professor, traveled to the National Clay Conference in Milwaukee. Senior members spoke to Tishomingo County third grade students about artwork in their graduation exhibition. In July, between working hard in the studio and enjoy the fun of tubing, they joined the tourism department in the No-Raft Race event promoting clean water and other environmental issues while showcasing the process of printmaking.
