Advising in your major area of study is required at the University of North Alabama. Advising is not limited to schedule planning but is an opportunity for students enrolled in the Connie D. McKinney Department of Human Sciences, Hospitality, and Design and the Interior Design program to meet with faculty members to help plan your educational goals and to assist in preparation for careers once your degree is obtained.

Each semester the Connie D. McKinney Department of Human Sciences, Hospitality, and Design post a schedule of advising times for students, please take advantage of these scheduled appointments. Each student will meet with his/hers advisor/faculty member to discuss your plans. It is recommended that the student comes prepared with a plan of study and possible options of courses to be taken during the semester(s) in which you are registering. Times will be posted in the department. Remember, advising is mandatory requiring signatures and student numbers.
