Tiny Cubs' mission is to improve perinatal care across Northern Alabama by striving to identify needs related to maternal and obstetrical care. Overcoming health disparities is an overall goal of this initiative. Tiny Cubs’ Project MEEM: Minority Education for Equity in Maternal care will provide scholarships to underrepresented students to assist with the cost of nursing school in hopes of increasing diverse representation in the obstetrical/gynecological/neonatal nursing profession.

In the Fall 2022, Tiny Cubs awarded $10,000 to four senior-level students. We hope to continue this wonderful scholarship opportunity through corporate sponsorships and private donations. Please click here if you are interested in donating/supporting a student.
