The micro-credential in Media Writing is a non-degree seeking program where students obtain writing skills across multiple media platforms including print, broadcast, social media, news releases, and scripts. Students will learn reportorial skills necessary for advanced new gathering and news writing. This micro-credential can provide current educators the skills need to advise school newspaper and broadcast teams. Grades earned within this program will be part of your permanent academic record and may be applied to the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Mass Communication program.
