Program Description

The Micro-Credential in Early Childhood Education is a global program that provides students a foundation of learning grounded in the National Association for the Education of Young Children Professional Preparation Standards and their Position Statement on Developmentally Appropriate Practice. Students will examine child development, the child-directed, play-based environment and the multiple influences on development and learning. This three course micro-credential provides students with a foundation in best practice for teaching young learners.
