Geography Club

The UNA Geography Club is open to any student interested in the activities of the Department of Geoscience students and faculty. The club offers opportunities for hiking, camping, tailgating, and travel to conferences. For more information, please email the department at   

Gamma Theta Upsilon Honor Society

Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU) is an international honor society in geography. UNA’s Zeta Nu chapter was established in 1980, and since that time it has inducted hundreds of students into the society. Members of GTU are recognized for their achievement in the field of geography. Members must have a B average in geography, have completed at least three semesters of university work, and have had at least three geography courses.
