The University of North Alabama Fostering Success Initiative serves youth who were in the foster care system when they earned a high school diploma or GED, as well as those placed in Kinship-guardianship or adopted from Alabama foster care after age 14. It is designed to assist students in completing the paperwork and documentation needed to transition from high school to UNA (including application and financial aid), as well as plug students in to important supports after they are on campus.
