Conversation Partners meets Tuesdays at 3 p.m. each week with a short break between semesters and 8-week terms and a longer break during the summer. Students meet in 204 Powers Hall to participate in guided discussions and activities. Occasionally, there may be a themed cultural activity that promotes cross-cultural learning and communication. Conversations help students in the Academic English Program (AEP) practice informal English, but more importantly, Conversation Partners is a wonderful opportunity for anyone in the UNA community to meet people and build lasting relationships. Whether you are an English learner or a native English speaker, you are welcome to attend Conversation Partners whenever you like.

Purpose? Help AEP students improve their conversational English and get involved in campus life; learn about other cultures and share your own.
When? Tuesdays 3:00-4:00 PM
Where? 204 Powers Hall
Who do I contact for information? Please contact the Academic English Program at aep@una.edu.
Participation in Conversation Partners can be counted as community/volunteer service and added to resume and experience.
