The University of North Alabama Office of Procurement supports opportunities for companies that are owned and operated by minorities, women, veterans, and people with disabilities. These businesses can supply UNA with professional services, construction, goods and other services.

Vendor Registration Portal Information

In an effort to include the most competitive, innovative, and talented vendors, the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is working with Procurement to promote awareness of the importance of supplier diversity. This collaboration will provide a platform for vendors to self-identify their status and support options through the Vendor Registration portal.  The registration process will create  awareness of small, diverse, and local businesses and promote opportunities that result in meaningful economic impact to Alabama as a whole. Supplier Diversity exists to serve the unique business needs of small, diverse, and local businesses . It provides support to these groups by:

• Creating opportunities that will create meaningful economic impact.
• Developing partnerships that result in lasting relationships.
• Increasing diversification of the University's procurement vendor base through increased opportunities.

The University is governed by the State of Alabama Bid Laws and has established institutional policies to ensure compliance with the laws.
