Overview

The aim of this initiative is to create a UNA STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) collaborative to ensure all students (K-16) have access and opportunities to develop the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a global economy. The collaborative will bring together local stakeholders across education, science, art, community, and business sectors to promote the Shoals and Northwest Alabama as a STEAM rich region by:

• Fostering STEAM learning opportunities
• Supporting partnerships
• Coordinating efforts
• Aligning resources
