Absolutely. Many people make a gift to UNA in memory of a loved one, in honor of a trusted colleague or in appreciation of an outstanding educator.
All gifts to UNA are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
Yes, there are administrative costs. All current-use funds are subject to a 5% administrative fee for each contribution. Endowed funds are subject to an annual administrative fee of 1.5% of the annual distribution date market value.
Yes, so long as the payroll deduction or pledge payment is at least $10 or more, the donor will count as one of the donors for the 1830 Giving Day Initiative.
