Diversity Ed Week: April 4th - 8th

Diversity Education Week (DEW) is celebrated as a part of upholding our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive campus. We use this week to promote awareness and understanding of diverse cultures and intersectional identities by building opportunities for connection, community, and engagement. DEW is a signature week presented by the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Thank you!

We want to extend our thanks to everyone who attended, shared, and supported UNA’s 2022 DEW. We are grateful for the many campus partners and the offices within the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for making this week a huge success.

Individuals, offices, schools, and teams volunteer their time during this week to make their communities better. The University of North Alabama is celebrating National Volunteer Week through various events, workshops, and volunteer opportunities within the campus and surrounding community.

Highlighting Student Service: UServe

UServe is an interactive, monthly program that incorporates education, training, service, and reflection to create dynamic social change. Each month focuses on the social challenges that exist today and connects with local agencies and organizations that work with those specific topics to help provide a better understanding and experience.
