Parking Regulations

This page will help you understand the University's on campus parking system, and the specific rules that all students, faculty and staff must follow. It will also give details about obtaining your University parking permit and the guidelines associated with it.



All vehicles must be registered with the University Transportation Services Department

University students and employees are required to register their vehicle(s) with the University Transportation Services Department and obtain a hanging permit to display at all times when on campus.



Parking regulations are in effect 24 hours a day!

  • Parking in your assigned color zones is enforced during business hours, Monday-Friday, 7 am-4 pm
  • WHERE DO I PARK?????
  • After business hours and weekends, all color zones are open to all vehicles
  • It is YOUR responsibility to educate yourself on the University Parking Regulations
  • The Permit holder/Vehicle owner is responsible for all citations issued to the vehicle.
  • Permits are NOT transferable to others, and will result in your permit being revoked.
  • Temporary parking passes are available as listed in Temporary Parking Permits
  • Updating permits when they expire are the responsibility of the permit holder.
  • Visitor lots are never available for parking for any students, faculty or staff with or without a decal.
