When should I register for a class?
Please register early! Cancellation decisions are made three business days prior to the course start date. Minimum enrollment levels are established for each course. If a course does not meet this level, it will be cancelled.
When do I pay for my class?
Payment is due at the time of registration. For company sponsored individuals, registration(s) will be confirmed when the authorization to bill the sponsoring company has been received by UNA Center for Learning and Professional Development. You will receive a confirmation by mail or email after we receive your registration. Please read it carefully for any updated information.
What happens if I need to withdraw from a class?
Failure to attend a non-credit course does not constitute withdrawal. UNA Center for Learning and Professional Development must be notified directly. If withdrawal is made by the registrant at least three working days prior to the course start date, a complete refund will be made. Refunds will not be made available after this time. Participant substitution may be made at any time.
Will a class ever be cancelled due to low enrollment? Will I be refunded for a cancelled class?
Non-credit courses are subject to cancellation if there is insufficient enrollment. UNA Center for Learning and Professional Development apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. In the event a course is cancelled, a registrant has the option of applying the fees paid to another course or receiving a complete refund.
Where do classes take place?
Most Center for Learning and Professional Development classes are held at the UNA East Campus. Some classes are at different locations as advertised. Ample parking space is available at the UNA East Campus and in the parking deck, which is conveniently located across from Stevens Hall, if your class meets on the main campus. We reserve the right to change the instructor, time, date, and room to better facilitate the program.
How do I know which classroom I will be in?
