Exit Counseling
In accordance with 34 CFR 685.304(b)(4), the Department of Education requires that all students that drop below half-time status, including those who graduate or do not return, complete Exit Counseling. This requirement is to ensure that you understand your student loan obligations and are ready for repayment. The Office of Student Financial Aid will communicate this requirement first through your UNA email, and if still not complete after 30 days, by sending a letter to the permanent address on file reminding the student of the requirement. This can be accessed by signing in at https://studentaid.gov/exit-counseling/ using your FSA I.D. and following the prompts. After completing exit counseling, please allow 3-5 business days for the university to be notified.
