Bio
Retired CPA. Undergrad and masters in accounting (tax at the masters level). Began career with Arthur Young (now EY), followed by family tax group at a major real estate development company. Raised family while teaching at the University of Texas at Arlington. Joined community bank to start internal audit function, going on to become CFO. Subsequently managed several family business ventures that were eventually sold to large public companies. Along the way, taught various accounting classes at various schools, including TCU. Assist in updating and maintaining principlesofaccounting.com.
