Bio

Anthony Crisafulli is a former managing editor of a New York magazine, CEO of a Virtual Reality and Data Mining company, Director of Johnson Center for Digital Media, Chair Art and Art History at the University of Texas (RGV), Chair of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Alabama and the Director of Recruitment and Retention for the School of the Arts. He has worked with HBO, The History Channel, The Travel Channel, Hasbro, LucasArts, and MOMA/PS1. He is presently the head of the Digital Media and the BFA at the University of North Alabama. Moreover, for curation he won Best of Philadelphia in Philadelphia Magazine and represented the United States at the 2008 Olympic's opening of China's first contemporary art museum. He is presently a Director of the Foundation Board for Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Ranked as the no.1 high school for the arts in Pennsylvania.), a member of the Board of Directors for Karl Stirner Arts Trail in Easton, PA., and a member of CAA's Council of Readers. Anthony Crisafulli has also held past positions as a member of the Board of Directors for the Texas Museum of Art and Science and the Apple Academic Board. "

Professor Crisafulli received his MFA in Combine Media from Hunter College - City University of New York, a Masters of Fine Arts in 3D Design from Montclair University and a BS in Political Economy. He has been a fellow at the Institute of World Affairs.
