Andy Whitt is a lifelong Madison County Resident and a proud graduate of Sparkman High School. Married to his high school sweetheart Jennifer Hilliard Whitt, the couple are parents to Grant and Emma Drew. The family attends church at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Monrovia, and are very active within the community. The couple has lived in this community all of their lives, and Andy makes the 8th generation to call this area home.

Andy was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2018 to represent House District 6. The district is located in both Madison and Limestone Counties, and represents such areas as; Toney, Harvest, Monrovia, Providence, Huntsville, Research Park, and East Limestone. Andy currently serves as the Chairman of the Economic and Development Committee and as the Vice-Chair for the Financial Service Committee.
