On behalf of the faculty and staff of the UNA College of Education & Human Sciences, I am pleased to welcome you to our website.  The College of Education offers a wide range of courses and programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and education specialist levels.  Specific course and program information is accessible on this website through each of the five academic departments: Counselor Education; Elementary Education; Health, Physical Education and Recreation; Human Environmental Sciences; and Secondary Education.

Third Party Testimony

The College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of North Alabama is hosting an accreditation visit by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) November, 17-19, 2013.  Interested parties are invited to submit third-party comments to the visitation team.  Please note that comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party’s relationship to the Education Preparation Provider (i.e., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates).

Correspondence, which must be received by NCATE no later than three months prior to visit, will be submitted to the Education Preparation Provider (EPP) for response via NCATE’s Accreditation Information Management System (AIMS).  NCATE will not upload anonymous comments to the BOE team or Education Preparation Provider (EPP).
