Collaboration and interdisciplinary partnerships are hallmark of quality research and provide a comprehensive approach to studying a given phenomenon. Research affiliates have experience working with a wide range of research projects and are available for professional consultation. They are dedicated to providing quality services and seek to have an impact on the Alabama/Tennessee Valley area through collaborative partnerships with clients in the community.

  • The SBSRC is available to assist agencies and organizations in establishing best practices in service delivery.
  • The SBSRC Research Affiliates are qualified to conduct program evaluations for agencies and organizations providing intervention and prevention programs (i.e., crime prevention, disease prevention) in an effort to improve client outcomes.
  • The SBSRC Research Affiliates are qualified to develop and implement an evaluation plan to monitor an agencies or organizations transition through the process of adhering to new policy.

In addition to extending services to the community the SBSRC offers opportunities for supervised student research in the community and facilitates interdisciplinary research collaborations among faculty and staff.
