Undergraduate Majors & Tracks

The Department of Psychology and Sociology offers an academic major in Sociology leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. The Sociology major is available in the:

  • Traditional Classroom or
  • 100% ONLINE

The Sociology major also offers three programs of study called Tracks. These Tracks include Family Life Education, Non-Profit Management, and Industrial Leadership.

Undergraduate Program Requirements

The Sociology major is comprised of 28 – 34 credit hours of course work. To successfully complete their degree, students must complete course work that satisfies UNA’s General Education Requirements and complete an academic minor. Academic concentrations are available but not a requirement for degree completion.
