Facility Management Assistant

Facility Management Assistants are typically undergraduate/graduate students who assists the Assistant Director of Housing with light custodial and maintenance work. This position does require moderate lifting and cleaning. 


FMA's typically work 15-20 hours between Monday-Friday during business hours (8-4:30pm) and as needed on evenings and weekends. 


  • Cleaning: apartment units, residential rooms, bathrooms, common areas, carpet, trash and recycling, university housing grounds, storage, closets, equipment, etc.
  • Organization and Facility Management: maintenance requests, common area furniture, residential area furniture, supply management, filing and archives, etc.
  • Special Projects: facility openings, closings, turnovers, camps, special events, furniture repair, etc.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by supervisor.


Summer Temporary Positions: Room Scholarship / 20-25 hours per week

(Full residential scholarship during Summer Term 1 and Term 2)
