Brad Botes ‘83 graduated with a double major in Business Management and Political Science. He also served as president of the UNA Student Government Association for two years. Brad received a Juris Doctorate degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He is a principal of each of the Bond & Botes law offices which are located in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Brad is licensed to practice law in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Illinois. He has been named as a Mid-South Super Lawyer, a Best Lawyer in America, a Birmingham “Top Lawyer” by B Metro magazine and has earned a Superb Rating of 10 by Avvo . Brad is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. Community service consists of serving as a member of the board of Directors of the Birmingham Crisis Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham, the Alabama Head Injury Foundation, and the Alabama Coalition against Rape. Brad is married to UNA graduate Kaye Benson Botes ‘84 and they are the parents of Bradford, Jr., Meredith and Philip. Botes is a member of the UNA President’s Cabinet.
