College of Arts and Sciences Political Science Department Endowed Scholarships

Dr. Frank B. Mallonee Endowed Scholarship

Preference given to rising seniors who are registered as pre-law majors and who have indicated a strong interest in attending law school.

Senator Howell T. Heflin Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time students that demonstrate financial need and maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Preference given to upperclassmen majoring in Political Science/ Is renewable.

J. Earl Romine Scholarship

Recipients shall be a child of a law enforcement officer from Colbert , Franklin, or Lauderdale counties. If there are none from these counties, then to the child of any law enforcement officer or to a UNA criminal justice major.

Harriet and George T. Mueller Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time students majoring in Fine Arts.   Only students who have been admitted to the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in the Department of Art will be eligible for consideration. All Studio Arts concentrations within the BFA degree program will receive equal consideration. Other award selection criteria will include:
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a cumulative GPA in Studio Arts of 3.25.

Mary Eileen and Clark D. Mueller Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time juniors or seniors majoring in Political Science with a cumulative GPA of 3.2.
