Coby Stockard Brubaker Scholarship

Based on outstanding and strong scholastic performance during high school years as reported on resume for UNA Leadership Scholarship. 

Charles N. Martin, Jr. Scholarship

Preference to graduates from:
(1) Alabama - Colbert, Cullman, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Walker, Winston.
(2) Tennessee - Giles, Hardin, Lawrence, McNairy, Wayne
(3) Mississippi - Alcorn, Benton, Itawamba, Marshall, Prentiss, Tishomingo

UNA Collegiate Car Tags

Recipient shall be deserving full time students with acceptable grades and college entrance exam scores.

Reuben Warren "Button" Matthews Scholarship

Full time student with preference given to a student who has achieved his/her high school diploma through a GED program.

William F. "Bill"  Gardiner Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time students who have attended Northwest Shoals Community College.

Raymond F. and Mary Deeters Endowed Scholarship

Preference shall be given to qualified applicants from Fairview High School in Cullman County, Alabama.

Max Earwood Scholarship

Full time student resident of Lauderdale County, Alabama.

Joseph A. and  Genevieve C. Matthews Scholarship

Students from Fairview High School in Cullman County, AL, Walker High School in Jasper, AL, and Lamar County High School in Bernon, AL.

David Brian Williams Endowed Scholarship

Preference will be given to a member or members of Highland Baptist Church, Florence, Alabama.

W. H. Mitchell Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time undergraduate resident of the State of Alabama, with an ACT score of 25 or higher.

Bobby E. and Sara Irons Endowed Scholarship

Student in the College of Business. First priority will be given to a student graduating from Waterloo High School, second a current UNA student from Waterloo High School to complete education, third a graduate from Florence High School.

Donald H. Patterson Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time student who has demonstrated academic merit and financial need.

E. B. Norton Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time student who has demonstrated academic merit and financial need.

Claudia Jeanette Marsh Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Students who have earned their high school diplomas through a GED program

Geneva Hill and Martin & Mabel Cooper Posey Endowment

Full-time student with preference to those who reside in Madison County, Alabama

Betty Johnson Mullins Festival of Trees Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time student with a minimum GPA  of 2.75

B. Vick, J. Parks, and M. McCarthy Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time student with music major, preference to candidates who are percussionist and graduates of Red Bay High School.

Todd Foust Endowed Memorial Scholarship

Recipients shall be full-time freshman with a minimum 2.75 GPA, and attended a private high school.

Kenneth T. and Kay W. Sunseri Endowed Scholarship

The recipient recommendations will be selected by a committee comprised of the Haleyville High School Superintendent, Principal, and Guidance Counselor, the Mayor of Haleyville and/or their designated representative in consultation with the Office of Admissions.  Must be a graduate of Haleyville High School, Haleyville, Alabama, an incoming freshman, transfer student, and/or current or re-admitted UNA student, maintain a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0

Margie Rose Looney Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be graduates of Athens High School and/or West Limestone High School, enrolling as freshmen at the University, who have indicated an interest in pursuing degrees in the College of Business or the College of Nursing.  Preference shall be given to applicants with a C average, who may not otherwise qualify for financial assistance based upon scholastic merit.
Selected by the Office of Admissions in consultation with the Athens High School and West Limestone High School guidance counselors.  Communication of such selections will be provided to Milton Looney, his daughter, Leigh Ann Looney, and their descendants.

Eula Ethel White Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be graduates of Brilliant High School, Brilliant, AL., or lineal descendants of Eula Ethel White regardless of high school, no regard for major if Brilliant closes, graduates of any City of Brilliant HS, preference to applicants with C average who may not qualify for scholastic merit.

Marvin A. and Grace Morrow Bryan Scholarship Fund

Recipients shall be full time students from Lawrence County and Wayne County Tennessee.

IH Chandler and VC Parker Memorial Endowed Scholarship

First priority will be given to students who demonstrate need based on calculations from the Office of Financial Aid, and communications between the Office of Admissions and high school guidance counselors who have knowledge of deserving students.  If one or more students do not meet the first priority, second priority will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and leadership qualities.  If one or more student do not meet the first or second priority, third priority will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.

Jerry Mills Endowed Scholarship

Graduate of Sheffield High School enrolling freshman.   

Villard and Clayton Allen Balch Endowed Scholarship

Must maintain GPA of 3.2, A graduate of Lexington High School, Lexington, Alabama, a graduate of any Lauderdale County high school, or a deserving student.

Justin R. Allred Endowed Scholarship

Graduate of Brooks High School Killen, Alabama who has been diagnosed with dyslexia. Second priority, will be given to a graduate of Brooks High School, Killen, Alabama

Jennifer Leigh Sunseri Memorial Endowed Scholarship

First priority shall be given to Haleyville High School students majoring in Special Education to teach at the elementary or high school level. Second priority to students from Haleyville High School with community service and leadership qualities.

Hovey Reed Endowed Scholarship

Full time student with any major, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and has financial need

Charlotte Hellums Endowed Scholarship

First priority will be given to students of Red Bay High School with no major institutional aid, second student who resides in Franklin County, Alabama, students with 3.0 HS GPA, renewal for 4 years maintaining 2.75 GPA. Lion Match.

Harvey and Joyce Robbins Endowed Scholarship

The recipient will be selected by committee Deshler HS principal, senior guidance counselor, Mayor of Tuscumbia, and  rep from office of Student Financial Services.
(1) Graduate of Deshler HS (2) Incoming freshman, transfer student or current student (3) Financial Need

Leigh Crocker Haley Endowed Scholarship

First priority students from Shelby County, Alabama and pursuing a major in education. Second priority students from Shelby County, Alabama and pursing a masters of education. Third priority students from Jefferson County, Alabama and pursuing a major in education. Fourth priority Jefferson County pursuing a masters of education. In addition the recipient must have a 3.5 GPA from high school. Renewable for up to four years maintains a 3.5 GPA.

Stewart and Lisa Cink Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be incoming freshman graduating from Florence High School.

Sarah Jo Box Spearman Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be a graduate of a Lamar County, Alabama public school. 

Senator Howell T. Heflin Endowed Scholarship

Student must maintain a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).  Preference will be given to upperclassmen majoring in Political Science. Lion Match

Colonel Paul R. & Jane M. O'Mary Endowed Scholarship

Priority to incoming freshmen from the State of Alabama who plan to major in math, science or computer technology.  It is the donor’s expressed wish that a candidate’s academic qualifications, take precedence over all other considerations in selecting a recipient. Renewable for up to three years maintains a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Delony Family Endowed Scholarship (Freshman from Colbert Co)

Recipients shall be full time student from Colbert County, maintain B average.

Muse Estate Endowment

Recipients shall be a deserving students majoring in Mathematics. Renewable with a 2.75 GPA

Dawn Corine Allfrey Scholarship Fund

Recipient will be an Athens High School senior.

William A. Graham Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time student who has demonstrated academic merit and financial need.

Celestine Martin Mitchell Endowed Scholarship

Recipients shall be full time students from Lauderdale County, Alabama, and Lawrence County, Alabama.

Hassell Scholarship

Priority given to students from Wayne County, Tenn.
