Building Stronger Communities through Service

Audience: Any
Approximately 60 minutes: Can be facilitated in-person or virtually

Active Citizens are people who make community a priority in everyday values and life choices. They harness and contribute their unique skills and interests to create abundance. In this workshop, students will:

  • Define the Active Citizenship Continuum
  • Identify steps to move along the continuum
  • Deconstruct community service and how they can use their own skills and interests to contribute to their campus and community

ReThink Simulation

Audience: Any
Approximately 60 minutes: Can be facilitated in-person or virtually

The ReThink Simulation is an immersive experience to educate students on poverty and adverse situations using a real-world, college-based scenario. From this workshop, students will:

  • Increase empathy
  • Learn about and be able to identify campus and community resources
