Meet Our Consultants

If you would like an appointment with a MLC Consultant, go to http://unamlc.mywconline.com/ to schedule one. You must register with WCOnline by clicking the "First Time User" link. We highly recommend that you use your UNA Portal email address and password. When you complete your registration, you will be sent back to the log in page. Once you have logged in, you will be able to select the week in which you would like your appointment. In order to narrow down the appointment options to those that suit your needs, you must select the appropriate area of advising from the "Limit to" drop-down menu. The white sections of the table show the available appointment times. Select the one that best fits your schedule, then fill in the information requested in the pop-up window.

Katie Coggins is available for consultations with the following Mathematics courses: MA 099, MA 100, MA 105, MA 111, and MA 112.

Katie Coggins

Katie is a Secondary Education and Mathematics major. She was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from a small private school where she enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball. She has participated in mission trips to the countries of Belize and Australia. Katie will graduate in spring of 2016 and begin her teaching career.

Melanie Batchelor is available for consultations with the following Mathematics courses: MA 099, MA 100, MA 105, MA 110, MA 111, MA 112, and MA 147.

Melanie Batchelor

Melanie is a sophomore majoring in Elementary Education. She graduated from Florence High School in 2012. She currently works at Kilby Elementary School as a student helper. Melanie has a passion to teach those around her and wants to make a positive influence in their lives. She enjoys traveling, meeting new people, listening to music, being involved in church, and spending time with friends and family. After graduation she hopes to obtain her Master’s degree in Elementary Education and teach at a preschool.

David Lundberg

David, from Winfield, Alabama, is a senior majoring in Mathematics and Secondary Education. He has a Siberian husky named Maya, and enjoys anything that makes him laugh. David is one of our football team members, playing guard on the offensive line. Roar Lions!

Monica Achard

Monica is a senior majoring in Mathematics and General Chemistry with her concentration in pre-medicine. She is originally from Myanmar (Burma), so she speaks Burmese in addition to English. Monica loves helping students with math, chemistry, and biology. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, running, movies, musicals, and puzzles. Monica enjoys working with children and hopes to go to medical school after she graduates.

Seth Pettus

Seth is a Secondary Education and Mathematics major. He is an easy-going guy from Lexington, Alabama, where he was a 2010 graduate of Rogers High School. Seth has always enjoyed singing and playing music. He has been in a band for the past year and has passion for singing Contemporary Christian music. He keeps his radio is tuned in to the nearest local Christian station! Seth is also a huge sports fan. The Atlanta Braves is his favorite team, but he is also a fan of the University of Tennessee. Football and baseball are his two favorite sports. Since math has always been his favorite subject, Seth is excited about being a consultant with the Mathematics Learning Center!

Kayla Dailey

Kayla is a senior majoring in mathematics with minors in both physics and computer science. She is involved in the UNA band, playing clarinet and serving as Vice President of Membership for Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity. Some of Kayla’s hobbies are reading, playing softball, basketball, or ultimate Frisbee. Although she was born in Daytona Beach, Kayla grew up in Huntsville from the age of two, graduating from Sparkman High School in 2010.
