Ms. Martha H. Woodford serves in the position of piano adjunct, presently, teaching class Piano. Ms. Woodford's educational background includes a Master of Arts Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Choral and General Music. Her undergraduate degree included a major in Applied Piano with a History minor. She has done graduate work toward the E. D. S. in Secondary Music Education. Both degrees were acquired at The University of North Alabama. She taught Public School Music in Lauderdale County for eighteen years and has taught Class and private Piano, intermittently, at UNA, since 1984. Ms. Woodford's professional activities include serving as a Music Specialist on the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Evaluation Committee, member and Past President of Florence Music Study Club, Alabama Music Teachers' Association (AMTA) and has served as organist/ pianist at her church for many years.
