My career in higher education has spanned nearly 30 years, and quite honestly I'm at the height of that career. Even though I hope to retire in the position that I have now, I don't believe that a person should ever stop learning new concepts. Earning my MBA is a personal goal that I've had for 20+ years, but plans to go back to school were put on hold in 1992 when I was diagnosed with cancer.

The ability to take classes on-line at UNA was very appealing since my work can be very demanding. The professors are very knowledgeable and will respond to questions in a timely manner. UNA's MBA program not only allows a student to acquire knowledge, but provides the benefit of learning how to think critically, communicate clearly, and lead effectively. The pursuit of this degree has been personally rewarding for me. It has allowed me not only to learn a subject matter, but learn the process of learning something new. With two courses left, I plan to graduate in December of 2012 - that's also the month I turn 60!
