Honors Program Reads
The Honors Program Reads is our year-round Book Club. Our current selection for spring 2013 will be announced shortly!
All Honors Program students are encouraged to join us for our Book Club. The HP pays for the book. All you have to do is read it with some care and share your reflections when we get together to discuss it - with food, naturally.
Previous selections in The Honors Program Reads series have included:
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, by Rebecca Skloot
The Starfish and the Spider, by Ori Brafman and Rod A. Beckstrom
Three Cups of Tea, by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, by Barbara Kingsolver
In the Sanctuary of Outcasts, by Neil White
Mountains Beyond Mountains, by Tracy Kidder
Gig: Americans Talk About Their Jobs, edited by John Bowe, Marisa Bowe, and Sabin Streeter
The World is Flat, by Thomas Friedman
