UNA Public History Center
The UNA Public History Center works in conjunction with the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area to provide communities with a wide variety of services to help them preserve and interpret their past, while providing public history students with valuable, hands-on experience in preservation and interpretation.
Center staff work to nominate properties to the National Register of Historic Places, conduct oral history interviews, develop walking and driving tours, document historic cemeteries, and design exhibits.
Center staff also conduct Section 106 Architectural and Historical Reviews.
Please contact Dr. Carolyn Barske for information about projects and Section 106 services.
